Yesterday as I was coming back from my workout at the local college, I got involved in an argument. \u00a0I usually stay out of arguments because I’m so busy, but today I had to get into one.<\/p>\n
There are American Veterans that go to the local college\u00a0who want the other students to know that they are students and were speaking\u00a0to and greeting\u00a0people.\u00a0 On my way\u00a0to my workout, I saw them and smiled.\u00a0 I appreciate their service and I support them.<\/p>\n
On the way back,\u00a0I\u00a0saw that a couple\u00a0had come to\u00a0their table\u00a0to\u00a0argue with them and call them names.\u00a0\u00a0I stood by for a moment\u00a0listening to them\u00a0verbally abuse the Veterans.\u00a0\u00a0The Veterans were\u00a0quiet and\u00a0respectful of this very disrespectful couple,\u00a0but they\u00a0weren’t defending themselves.<\/p>\n
I got so angry at these abusers and their lies. \u00a0I couldn’t take it.\u00a0 I felt that if I didn’t defend these Veterans I was a nothing.\u00a0 I started\u00a0countering the lies and vilification that these degenerates were spewing at our\u00a0Veterans.\u00a0 I was able to demolish their lies because I know American history and they had no response to me.<\/p>\n
The problem is that I was shaking so badly during my defense of the Veterans.\u00a0 I’m so out of shape and I thought I might get into a fight.\u00a0 I thought those America haters might attack me. \u00a0I’m not in shape to fight these days and that bothers me.<\/p>\n
I used to be in such good shape.\u00a0\u00a0Seven\u00a0years ago, I\u00a0trained in\u00a0Jiu Jitsu for three years. \u00a0 That is the same stuff that UFC fighters use. \u00a0Before that, I beat a four time Mr. Natural Universe title holder in a dip competition. \u00a0The guy was like Superman and I beat him; and I have a witness (my brother). \u00a0 Since then, I have let myself slip\u00a0so far from what I was, that I\u00a0appear to have\u00a0lost all confidence in myself.<\/p>\n
Will this encounter spur me to get back in shape? \u00a0Knowing myself, no. \u00a0I’m too busy with work.<\/p>\n
