No matter how many times I tell myself I won’t over eat, if I’m at a buffet, I overeat.\u00a0 There is an all you can eat buffet at my hotel. \u00a0Why do I like buffets so much?<\/p>\n
I have no discipline when it comes to eating food that is layed out in front of me.\u00a0 There has to be some evolutionary explanation for my uncontrolled buffet behavior and I’d like to know it.\u00a0 I should hire myself out as an expert to hotels on customer\u00a0over eating at buffets. \u00a0I don’t understand why I keep eating long after I am stuffed. \u00a0Something primal in me starts when I join the herd of other over eaters swarming around the buffet offerings.<\/p>\n
I’m on vacation with my in-laws and have been\u00a0eating at\u00a0hotel buffets for the last three weeks.\u00a0 I ate so much yesterday that I partially lost consciousness.\u00a0 I had to go pee so badly but I\u00a0 didn’t want to get up from the table or abandon my food. \u00a0 Finally my full bladder was so painful, I had to get up and find a bathroom.<\/p>\n
I staggered down the hall and found a bathroom.\u00a0 I noticed there were no urinals and the wallpaper looked kind of fuffy; I thought it was some kind of hip new\u00a0bathroom decor. \u00a0I found a stall and relieved myself.\u00a0 I must have\u00a0peed for five minutes.<\/p>\n
What a relief!\u00a0 I\u00a0had more room\u00a0to eat and drink again.\u00a0 As I\u00a0was\u00a0washing my hands, I noticed a woman in the bathroom looking at me with\u00a0a “what the hell are you doing in here” look in her eyes, and I thought it was\u00a0odd that she\u00a0went into\u00a0the men’s bathroom.\u00a0 She looked at me like I was some kind of idiot.<\/p>\n
I walked out back to the dining hall and\u00a0looked behind me at the sign on the door\u00a0and yes, I just\u00a0peed in the woman’s bathroom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
